Nothing wrong happened, no one pushed me under the bus, I didn’t fuck up, the office didn’t go under. I just couldn’t anymore, a new client came up, poisoned an entire village in the Amazon rainforest, I read the Public Attorney’s meeting with the villagers, they have nothing left.

I just couldn’t.

No, that’s the thing, this was my first position in a big office, with great prospects and a great salary. I’m sure I’ll find something else, but it’s going to take a couple of weeks, probably going back to diplomacy.

Good on you. Company that poisoned indigenous people didn’t happen to rhyme with Shevron or Chell did it? The tribes in the Amazon need as much help as they can get. I think most of them are getting fed up with the Brazilian legal system as the Brazilian government hasn’t been helping to enforce court rulings. Lead is looking like a better option for a lot of them.

Fucked up. The indigenous populations here in Arizona have been poisoned by Uranium mining firms for the last half century. Of course the companies claim nothing is wrong as the number of victims pile up. We have whole generations of Navajo and Hopi indians that are affected by Uranium poisoning. Unfortunately no one gives a shit.
